YOUNG TRAVELERS


Effective January 1st, 2024, Egyptian minors (under 18 years old) are prohibited from traveling outside of Egypt to any destination without their guardian.

If a minor (under 18 years old) is traveling unaccompanied, they must obtain prior permission from the Communication Department affiliated with the General Administration of Passports, Immigration, and Nationality.

Regarding minors in sports teams:
Sports teams with a decree issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (bearing the eagle stamp of the Arab Republic of Egypt) may travel without prior permission from the Communication Department.
Sports teams holding a letter from the Game Federation must obtain prior permission from the Communication Department.




Young travelers refer to passengers under the age of eighteen. At Nesma Airlines, we accommodate solo travelers under 18 and strive to make their flight experience enjoyable.  However, specific instructions and conditions must be followed:


Required Conditions:

• The Nesma Airlines Aviation Form must be completed for transporting unaccompanied minors.

• For children under 2 years old, caregivers must accompany them throughout the journey.

• Nesma Airlines provides an official, identifiable by a badge, to accompany children under 12 years old.


Important Instructions: If your child is between two and twelve years old, please ensure:

• A parent or legal guardian accompanies the child to the departure airport.

• The names of guardians receiving the child at the arrival airport are listed in the provided form.

• Upon arrival, the designated guardians must collect the child at the arrival airport.

• Your child understands their journey plan and knows the individuals receiving them at the arrival airport.

• Emphasize the importance of carrying their passport, tickets, and boarding pass to your child.

• Familiarize your child with travel procedures.

• In case of need or queries, instruct your child to seek assistance from Nesma Airlines flight crew only.

• Your child should not leave the airport or boarding gate area without an official Nesma Airlines flight officer wearing a badge.
